Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

hard boiled eggs

We really love hard boiled eggs but can’t stand when they are rubbery. What’s worse is when the yolks are green. It’s taken a while for us to find the perfect method for making non-rubbery bright yellow hard boiled eggs, but I’m happy to report that we have lift off!

Prep Time: 2 mins  Cooking Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:
eggs

Gently place uncooked eggs in a pot. Add cool water to cover eggs completely. Place pot on high heat until eggs come to a boil. Once the water is boiling, take pot off the heat and cover with lid. Set the timer for 15 mins and let eggs continue to cook in the pot. When timer rings, drain hot water and cover eggs with cool water. Adding ice is helpful. When cool enough to handle, peel and eat.
