Kid-tastic Chef'n Palm Peeler
As I’m sure you know by now, I’m a big fan of letting my kid get some hands-on experience in the kitchen. I’ve discovered that letting him have some of his own real kitchen tools and utensils have made all the difference in his tiny hands. Plus he gets super excited to use HIS things. As I discover new kid-friendly tools I’ll post them on the blog and in the Tool Tips section.
This Chef’n brand Palm Peeler is a terrific first peeler for a kid. It slips right onto the finger and sits into the palm of the hand. I like it because the blade is tucked underneath and it is coated in rubber which makes it stay in place. When we use it, I often hold the veggies and my kid palm peels them. It comes in lots of bright colors and only costs $6. You can get it here Chef’n Palm Peeler PP CDU or in most cooking supply stores.

I love the new additions to the blog, Reb! Keep up the good work!
My family loves this peeler! It is perfect for kids…..mine are no longer afraid of shaving skin off their fingers!
This is a must for every kitchen, not just ones where the family cooks together!
