I’ve found Cooking with My Kid to be a great skill building activity. My kid is constantly learning to measure, cut, pour, sort and test. As his skills advance, I’ve begun making a little collection of kid-friendly tools and activities. When it comes to tools, he really enjoys using HIS rubber spatula, HIS whisk, etc. I’ve also found that he’ll try new things if we use fun new utensils at the table. Not exactly something Emily Post would approve of, but I think it builds character. As we try out new kitchen tools, utensils and activities, I’ll recommend them here so that you too can enjoy building skills and character!
