I recently discovered easy lunchboxes and I LOVE them! Perfect size, BPA free and easy to clean – not so many parts! I so want to win!

I have been loving the lunch box series you're doing! Normally my son eats school lunch but he's been asking to take his own, so now I've got lots of great ideas to use! Thanks for the giveaway! :)

  4. 4 Rachel said at 9:44 pm on August 29th, 2010:

I love that they are truly affordable and that they are just two pieces per lunchbox. The way they nest together for easy storage is very appealing. I have an entire cabinet dedicated to the TONS of plastic containers I use to pack my kids' lunches. Something so compact would be greatly appreciated! :)

  5. 5 Tami said at 10:02 pm on August 29th, 2010:

That is amazing! I love that companies are realizing how much blogging can do for them:) Anyway, I love the versatility, you can use 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 boxes at once and I love the lack of waste when you can pack lunches and I would order green, my sons favorite color:)

  6. 6 kat said at 10:07 pm on August 29th, 2010:

These containers are FaBuLoUs!!! I love the compartments and the fact that it will inspire me to make more creative and healthy lunches for my girls! I would love a purple cooler if I were lucky enough to win.

Here is the thing I really like about these you can make a lunch with out multiple baggies and containers. Fill it- close it-grab it (if the boys remember)-go. My eight year old was checking this out over my shoulder and wanted to know if he could have the peanut butter and jelly sushi. He said he would like the popcorn too after he gets his braces off.

  10. 10 Mee said at 10:57 pm on August 29th, 2010:

Oooh, like like like. Roomy but compact, secure yet easy enough for a small child to open, simple and thoughtfully designed. I was beginning to think it didn't exist. My girlie would like crackers, salami, and cheese in hers with a side of fruit. If I get picked, could I have a black bag?

  11. 11 Harrison said at 11:02 pm on August 29th, 2010:

the lunch bag coolers look cool like the purple one. i would be able to store things liek snacks throughout the day and bring them to class on campus and munch on things instead of rushing back and forth to get a quick meal..

  12. 12 Miranda said at 11:43 pm on August 29th, 2010:

I love that these are bpa free! I would use them for picnics with my son.

  16. 16 amy said at 2:45 am on August 30th, 2010:

these look great, i like how the food stays in the container and doesn't slide over to the other parts. that is my favorite part and very hard to find. Thanks for sharing!

  17. 17 Monica said at 4:25 am on August 30th, 2010:

These look great! I love how they are affordable and come with four sets – I know my children would adore eating their lunch out of something like this! I also love how they store in a small space!

As far as bag – I like black, red and green: how will I decide? I'd love to win – thanks for a great giveaway!

  18. 18 Jessica said at 5:03 am on August 30th, 2010:

Wow, these are fabulous!! They are really affordable, and I like that there are different colored lids!! My son loves colors, so he would get a kick out of that. I'm really trying to get my son to start eating more variety, and I think your blog is going to help me!! I'm so glad I found it! As for the bags, I'd pick the aqua, because my son likes it best!

  19. 19 JeCaThRe said at 5:09 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that these containers mean less time digging around for that tiny lid that always manages to hide in the back corner of the drawer. And I'd get the red bag, though we'll probably end up getting several different colors so we'll know which bag belongs to which person in the morning.

  20. 20 Julie said at 5:31 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love this series you've been doing – perfect timing! I think my girls will really like some of these options in their lunches. And, I love these containers. Thanks for the giveaway!

  21. 21 beth cruit said at 5:56 am on August 30th, 2010:

These are so cool! Kids love things separated into its own place! Love the red.

  22. 22 Kelli said at 6:12 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that it is one container with different compartments. Right now, we use 3 or 4 different containers in each lunch. These would be a real space saver!

  23. 23 Lisa B. said at 6:20 am on August 30th, 2010:

These containers look perfect!! I never liked my food touching so this would be a very nice solution. And what a great space saver!! Love the red cooler but honestly would love any of them.

  24. 24 Kelly P. said at 6:29 am on August 30th, 2010:

My 5 year old son loves his bento lunches, but has issues when the food touches – this would definitely solve that!

  25. 25 Joanna said at 6:33 am on August 30th, 2010:

I LOVE these containers! My toddler would have the best time helping us pack her lunch in these. I can't wait to use them! I would choose the green bag.

  26. 26 Jen N said at 6:38 am on August 30th, 2010:

These are great! I have a soon-to-be-kindergartner who will be eating lunch away from home for the first time, and these seem like an appealing and easy way to pack her lunches. The one container is so great, and I appreciate that it is safe. She'd pick the purple lunch box, while I'd go for the blue.

  27. 27 kellyjo32 said at 6:39 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love how they are BPA safe and how the compartments are a good size, sometimes compartmentalized boxes have teeny tiny spaces that nothing really fits in! Looks like a great product!!!

  28. 28 Lauren W. said at 6:50 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love the photos of all the ideas the containers look to hold decent portion sizes without having to pack more than one container. It really is a chore to find containers like this in stores that can fit nicely into it's own bag. Aqua is my favorite.

  29. 29 Jessica said at 6:57 am on August 30th, 2010:

    how fun! love the blue!

  30. 30 Dana said at 7:02 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that these cute lunchboxes are BPA free, which can be very difficult to find in stores here. Purple is such a bright, distinctive color, that I would love for people to come ask questions about my little lunchboxes. I bring breakfast/lunch/dinner to class and work, so these pre-portioned boxes are great. One of my favorite late summer breakfasts that I would put into this lunchbox is: 1 greek yogurt container, handful of blueberries, handful of strawberries, sprinkle of Kashi Golean cereal, and a few fresh Black Mission figs. So sweet, so satisfying, and so filling. This breakfast lasts me hours and hours, and this container would make it so convenient to bring to work. ONLY 1 CONTAINER TO CLEAN-HOW GREAT IS THAT!

  31. 31 mia said at 7:09 am on August 30th, 2010:

love the compartments. my daughter loves coming up w/ something new to fill each one!

  32. 32 Vicki said at 7:43 am on August 30th, 2010:

Thank you for all the lunch ideas!!!
I love the Easy Lunchboxes for a few reasons – no more baggies, portion control, one container, dishwasher safe and less storage!! :) I would LOVE to have a set!! I would be happy with any color bag!! :)

    Thanks for the chance! :)

  33. 33 Deb said at 7:44 am on August 30th, 2010:

I like that there are four of them so I wouldn't have to worry about washing them all the time.

  34. 34 JessA said at 8:00 am on August 30th, 2010:

I have seen these on a couple lunch box sites and I love them. BPA-free, the perfect size compartments, they look fantastic!!

  35. 35 debbie said at 8:01 am on August 30th, 2010:

I've been ooooing and aaahing over these for weeks now–my son's starting pre-k in two weeks and we'll be packing lunches for the first time ever. Love the BPA-freeness, and the ease of cleaning, and the fact that it's all one piece (as in, no tiny bento dividers). As for color, it's green green green, please.

  36. 36 Sarah said at 8:12 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love your lunchbox series. You have so many yummy, fun ideas.

I already take my lunch to work almost every day but I love the green colored bag. I like how the containers are separated out so you can put different foods in one container without having to use plastic baggies or foil to separate them. These containers are green in that aspect, for sure.

  37. 37 brownbutterbakery said at 8:15 am on August 30th, 2010:

Love these little guys and would use them tons for my son Cole. We don't have anything like them. Makes it easy to do protein in one, veggies and fruit in the others.

  38. 38 Carrie said at 8:17 am on August 30th, 2010:

First of all, I love that they are BPA free! Second of all, I love the compartments- no need to pack a bunch of different containers since we no longer do baggies. Third of all, it lets my son and I get creative with his lunch! He is excited to try different things just so he could put them in one of the compartments! I also love the price! As far as color- blue of course! :)

  39. 39 Erin C said at 8:20 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love the fact that the food does not touch…That is a big deal at our house…

just what i've been looking for!

  41. 41 Elin said at 8:33 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love these! They'd be perfect for my one year old's day care lunches or for my lunches for work! And the bag comes in purple… AWESOME!

  42. 42 Christine W said at 8:35 am on August 30th, 2010:

LOVE the containers! Like that they are safe (BPA, Phylates, etc) unlike so many at the store. Love the little container sections which would be great so you could split it even up into food groups: Grapes in one container, sandwhich in the big one, little yogurt or sliced carrots in another. Great way to make sure your kids get different groups in. Love the avocado green bag the most.

  43. 43 Stephanie said at 8:43 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love how easy they are to put together in the morning. We have been doing Bentos this year and the little containers are a lot of work. This would make me a much nicer mom in the mornings.

  44. 44 Olya said at 8:49 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that these have all the convenience of the bento boxes but are much more practical for my 2 year old! It's perfect because it's meant for you to be picky and to do some self-assembly. I'd love to try these out, thanks for setting up the giveaway for us!

  45. 45 Mallorey said at 8:51 am on August 30th, 2010:

I like that it is 3 containers in 1! Only one lid to have to keep track of!
I would get the black bag for my husband.

  46. 46 Kira said at 9:01 am on August 30th, 2010:

These are awesome containers!!! I love the AQUA!

  47. 47 Jessica said at 9:35 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love these. Way more convenient and stylish than a reused plastic grocery bag!

  48. 48 Tessa B. said at 9:48 am on August 30th, 2010:

I would love these because they are stackable, would hold exactly what we love to use in our lunches, and would be so convenient!

  49. 49 kelly said at 9:49 am on August 30th, 2010:

Love the layout of the containers. This would be great for my 6 year old's school lunches.

  50. 50 Jen said at 10:03 am on August 30th, 2010:

Awesome idea, especially the extra box sets. Just wondering if the containers are recyclable. I know they are durable, but hoping they can be recycled (vs. thrown away) when not usable anymore.

    Thanks!

  51. 51 Magi said at 10:03 am on August 30th, 2010:

My daughter's favorite color is purple. She doesn't start kindergarten for another year, but she's already talking about having a backpack and a lunch bag. My husband and I already pack our lunches every day, and she can't wait until she can too.

  52. 52 Janet said at 10:07 am on August 30th, 2010:

The burgundy cooler bag is wonderful and wouldn't it be nice to have a lunch box that would do away with our need for baggies? I'm so tired of baggies all over the place… sigh…

  53. 53 Min said at 10:13 am on August 30th, 2010:

I've been coveting these containers since you first posted about them! They'd make packing lunches easier and more fun! I might have to pick red. Thanks for the giveaway!

  54. 54 Kris said at 10:14 am on August 30th, 2010:

I am an avid collector of lunch gear:
I love that they stack into each other for storage, and it is all one piece!

  55. 55 Sarah J said at 10:16 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love pretty much everything y'all create! I've tried your chicken-less parm (which my husband, who is a non-vegetarian, LOVES), your spinach frittata and the parmesan breadsticks. All super yummy! For the lunch specials that you've been doing this week, I really like the peanut butter quesadilla and the stuffed bagel. The containers are perfect for lunch because they keep everything separate. I personally find it gross when my lunch touches- things get soggy and well, usually there is unpleasantness that follows…thanks for all the wonderful ideas!

  56. 56 Rosemamie said at 10:16 am on August 30th, 2010:

Love that they are bpa-and-all-that-other-nastiness-free! Love that you can totally eliminate the need for plastic baggies and other containers. Love that the cooler bags are so roomy and keep the food you pack fresh with the addition of a cold pack. Love love LOVE!

  57. 57 Lisa said at 10:20 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that these containers don't warp and that they are BPA-free!

  58. 58 Barb said at 10:22 am on August 30th, 2010:

what perfect timing! my husband and i were talking about ordering one for our daughter, she has very strict diet needs and has to take food and drink everywhere to avoid a metabolic crisis, these kits are perfect. Fingers crossed we win this one! Purple for our princess.

  59. 59 michelle said at 10:28 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that they come in packs of 4 so you don't have to wash them every night, plus they work for the whole family (can we say picnic?). They also look easier for a young child to open then a lot of the other products I've seen. I love the red one.

BTW – LOVED your lunch box series! I think I tagged every single one of them in delicious.

  60. 60 karen said at 10:29 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that they have their own cooler bags available since it's SO hard to find containers that fit into my preschooler son's existing bag well. He's in a nut-free classroom so the standard PB&J is out so I tried your cream cheese & jelly rolls with him last week and he's asked for them 3 times since! SUCH a big hit!

  61. 61 Vivian M. said at 10:30 am on August 30th, 2010:

My daughter does not like her different food items to touch – this container is perfect to keep her lunch items separated!

  62. 62 brandi s. said at 10:31 am on August 30th, 2010:

My daughter starts Pre K soon and I have yet to get her something (besides ziploc) to put her lunches in! I think she would love these since she wants everything separated!

  63. 63 bambi bitter said at 10:33 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love these!!! My kids saw them and said, look lunchables!! How awesome that they can 'think' they're something else and i can pack healthy food in them =) I love the olive green bag

  64. 64 Ellen said at 10:33 am on August 30th, 2010:

I would absolutely LOVE to win one of these sets. I would choose the green because it's my son's favorite color. I think the concept is great! Any way to get my kids to eat more healthy is a positive thing!

  65. 65 ashley said at 10:35 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that they are environmentally friendly & dishwasher/microwave save!

  66. 66 Michele said at 10:37 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that they have small sections. I like to send small amounts of many things for my kids lunches. I am tossing all my old plastic tubs and going all BPA free, so I really need these!

  67. 67 Nissa said at 10:38 am on August 30th, 2010:

  71. 71 Carly said at 10:43 am on August 30th, 2010:

I could use these!! My kids have bento-style boxes, now it's my turn. :) I love that these nest inside one another to store, we don't have that much space. I'd pick blue, this one would work for my girls, my son, my husband or me!

  72. 72 Theresa M. said at 10:44 am on August 30th, 2010:

What's not to like about these boxes. My 8th grade daughter would love one for her lunches. I love that there are more then one box to pack a lunch in. She could prepare some of her lunch ahead of time then finish that day's lunch before she goes out the door. That would cut down on prep time in the morning. She would really love the "green" factor of them too. As a matter of fact, I think I could safely say that if we won, green is the color she would choose! Wonderful, fresh lunch ideas too. I'll be sharing those when she gets home tonight! :)

  73. 73 Nikki said at 10:45 am on August 30th, 2010:

I would love to have these containers! My 7 yr old daughter has autism gained so much weight eating school lunches and being sedentary in the special needs classroom. We have pulled her out of school and are home schooling now and working really hard to help her get healthier by being more active and eating right and she is doing a great job. These containers would be so helpful for us to help teach her how to prepare healthy lunches and snacks and to learn proper portion control.

  78. 78 Dawn M. said at 10:49 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love that it saves space & is dishwasher & microwave safe.

We love our Easy Lunchboxes but sadly, one of the tops feel thru (the dishwasher) and landed on the heat coil and melted :-( ….. Now I have 4 containers and 3 lids – luckily we are only a family of 3! It sure makes packing lunches fun and simple!

  80. 80 Traci Funk said at 10:50 am on August 30th, 2010:

I've been on the hunt for reusable lunch containers that are non-toxic and these are so cute! My little girl is starting first grade this year and your lunch ideas have been wonderful! I love that there is only 1 dirty container each day as well! we are all about the cream cheese and jelly sandwich rolls and my daughter is a big fruit lover, so this container would work super well for those. But, we will likely try out many of your other ideas, too! Thanks!!!

  85. 85 Heather Foley said at 11:00 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love the versatility! I can pack my lunch, my husband lunch and my son's lunch in a matter of minutes. Currently I am taking too much time (and landfill space) with sandwich bags and individual containers. One more bonus with Easy Lunchboxes and the cookingwithmykid.com blog: I have now found the key to getting my 6 year old to try new foods. When foods are laid out it such a fun and comforting delicious way who can say no!

    p.s we like red :)

I love these containers and have been wanting to buy some but now I would rather win them!! Love the idea of only having 1 tupperware container instead of 3, love not having to use numerous plastic bags, love the 4 different color lids so i know one goes to which kid, love the whole idea! pick me!!! Oh, and love your lunch ideas too!! so creative but easy!

  87. 87 Carrie H. said at 11:01 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love these lunch boxes! My kids are always begging to buy lunchables and I can make a "homemade" lunchable in these sturdy, reusable containers. I will have 2 kids in full day school next year, and one more following and I don't like making lunches. This system will make it super easy and fun! My favorite color is the violet lunch bag.

  88. 88 Kit said at 11:03 am on August 30th, 2010:

Recently discoverd the Ziploc alternative to the Easy Lunchboxes. What a disappointment. Thought I'd hit the jackpot but, alas, the saying "you get what you pay for" is really true. The tops are already beginning to break. We've only been in school a week and a half! :( So, my bento eatin' kiddo really needs mama to win this!

the best part about these containers and the recent recipes on your blog – is that together, you can allow your child to be creative with his or her food by building a custom made lunch using all of the compartments! what better way to get your child to eat then making them think that they're the ones choosing what they're going to eat and how. too cute! and supercool of the company to do a giveaway!!

  90. 90 Caroline B. said at 11:04 am on August 30th, 2010:

My daughter starts school this year and this would be perfect! I love the different containers…perfect to put the cut up fruits and veggies in using the mini cookie cutters I just got!

I think these are a great way to get yourself into a healthier eating regiment – both for adults and kiddos. I'd definitely choose the Olive bag – green is my fav!

  92. 92 Jessica Newman said at 11:07 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love how easy it makes it to pack a healthy lunch! One fruit, one veggie, and one main course! I would have to get purple b/c I have two girls :)

Hi!! What adorable lunch systems! I am teaching the kids organization and what better way to reinforce this than with lunch or breakfast???

Thanks for these-while I hope to win, I am still thankful to have found you!

  94. 94 Heather said at 11:12 am on August 30th, 2010:

I can see using this for both my preschooler and my husband. Love that they are BPA free. I'm a big fan of compartments. Presentation goes a long way with my picky eater!

  95. 95 Ashley said at 11:12 am on August 30th, 2010:

  96. 96 Pam said at 11:14 am on August 30th, 2010:

Noa has a strict rule that she can only have three things in her lunch box, so this would work much better than her other bento box from Tupperware. And if we win, we would choose purple of course.

  97. 97 Jenn G said at 11:16 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love what these teach my children about waste and reusing! Thank you for such a great product!!!

  98. 98 Desiree said at 11:18 am on August 30th, 2010:

The convenient compartments make packing lunch a waste free snap for me, and I love that they are dishwasher safe too.

I think it's neat what you are doing with your son–fun, healthy, and he's learning. I am going to have to make the apple peanut butter honey quessdillas for my daughter (she loves peanut butter–this is another way to fix it as I've done a ton of sandwiches and wraps, but never this one yet). Thanks!

I would chose the color red since it's my son's favorite color. I can imagine the great healthy lunches I would be packing for him if I won the contest.

  104. 104 Deborah said at 11:36 am on August 30th, 2010:

I love these containers. I lvoe that they are BPA free, washable, reusable, campartmetalized. I love the portion control they offer and the ease of filling. I’ve been drooling over these all summer. We pack 2 lunches every day and go through so many plastic baggies because “nothing can touch” and everything must go in something! I’ love a red bag for my son, or a purple bag for my daughter – or any bag!!! I know if I won one set, I’d be right there ordering a second set of everything for my other child. hmm… did I mention I’m really excited about this product? :)

  105. 105 Kristen said at 11:38 am on August 30th, 2010:

The BPA free & dishwasher safe are good enough, but the fact that it's all one container & 1 lid? Heavenly. I'm making a real effort to pack my kids' lunches this year so I'm looking for simplicity – these look PERFECT.

I *LOVE* your ideas. I am defintiely going to borrow some of your lunch ideas. I get stuck in a rut & run out of lunch ideas real quick. I absolutely love the size of each little compartment. A whole sandwich in one? No squishing to fit it in…fabulous! And I would totally choose the lime color because it's a "cheery" color to me :-D

  132. 132 JenniferS said at 1:13 pm on August 30th, 2010:

Wow, pretty cool! I already use a similar one with 3 compartments, but it would be nice to have more so I wasn't always washing the same one to reuse. I love that it's lead, BPA, PVC and phthalate free. I would definitely choose the green lunchbox!

These containers sure look awesome!!! I have 2 little girls, one of which, is a very picky eater and does not like any of her food to touch. When eating at home, we always use the cute plates with dividers but I have a difficult time packing lunches when we go out because I have to pack each item separately causing a lot of waste! I love that these containers would solve both of those problems! I'd love to win the giveaway and since I have two little ladies in the house, I know they'd vote for the purple lunch bag. Thanks for sharing all your yummy lunch/snack ideas! We will definitely be trying them out :)
