Sorry it’s taken us so long to post the winner of this Countdown to 2011 Giveaway. We resolve to be better about posting winners sooner in the new year. The winner of this giveaway is Mountain Girl who commented on the Edible Party Horns. We’re so excited to welcome in the new year that we’ve come up with an entire collection of kid-friendly New Years recipes. All our New Years recipes are fun and festive and we’re so excited about sharing them. We’re also excited about these crazy cute Matroyshkas measuring cups. So excited that we ordered one set for us and another set for you. Yes you. You who comments on our Countdown to 2011 posts. You who will be chosen at random from all the comments.
We’ll start with our first Countdown to 2011 post on 12/22. We’ll post new recipes through 12/28. All you have to do is comment on one of our Countdown to 2012 recipes to be entered to win the Fred M Cup Measuring Matroyshkas. I love those–how adorable! Today I've done pretzel rolo candies (easiest, most kid-friendly thing EVER) and have spicy pecans in the crock pot. I also plan to make your cranberries and syrup today!

I've been trying the big hunks of food thing with my baby. He isn't taking to it as well as yours, but I love the idea and will continue to work on it.

I love these!!! I also love the site. My daughters and I check in regularly for ideas. We cook together always, I want them to remember fondly as adults all the hours we have spent in the kitchen bonding over a mixer and licking batter off spatulas. Your site helps mix things up a bit in a different way.
