Asian Chicken Burger with Sriracha Mayo
Labor Day is fast approaching and summer is almost in the rear view so we’re grilling most evenings as the days shorten. We try to stay away from ground beef (unless it’s a trip to Apple Pan) and with this whole ground turkey scare we’ve turned to ground chicken. And guess what? My family actually prefers ground chicken over the ground turkey; it holds more moisture and takes on the flavors of the hoisin, ginger, and soy sauce better than the turkey. When this burger recipe is combined with the Sriracha Mayo (which isn’t nearly as spicy as you might think) it transforms into a most unique but satisfying alternative to the typical summer burger.
