Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel
I made it out of food. And when it’s dry and ready, oh dreidel I shall eat! Pardon the interruption from Home Baked Holidays, but I had to post this awesome dreidel craft before tomorrow! (Can you believe Hanukkah is here already?)
My dearest friend, Rachel, started an amazing charity called The Fifth Night and she makes these awesome dreidels with the kiddos on the night of the event. I liked the charity idea and the craft so much that I stole both! We’re doing our own Fifth Night LA and the night of the event we’ll be doing this craft.
I love The Fifth Night because it make Hanukkah so much more meaningful for the children. Instead of GETTING on the 5th night of night of Hanukkah they are GIVING. We’re going to make this a yearly tradition.
By the way, Rachel uses frosting instead of peanut butter so it is nut-allergy friendly. (Also, I do know marshmallows aren’t kosher, but you can use kosher marshmallows if you’d like.) Now for the recipe…
Edible Dreidel Craft Recipe
Ingredients:
large marshmallows
peanut butter or frosting
hersey kisses
chocolate sprinkles
small pretzel sticks
Stick a pretzel stick into one end of the marshmallow. Smear peanut butter or frosting at the other end. Affix an unwrapped Hersey kiss to that end. Let set and then smear peanut butter or frosting all over the marshmallow. Roll the entire marshmallow in sprinkles. Play and eat!

yes please. they look delicious enough to make one want to convert….
We make these every year, though I have never used sprinkles before! Bonus idea! Thank you. The kosher marshmallows are lacking. But they get the job done 😉
They look yummy, wishing you and the kid a very happy Hanukkah!
can you say amazing!! I want to eat it through the screen! I am making these this week with my 3 year old!

Ooooh!! love it we are making these today thanks for the idea!
I guess this changes the song from "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, I made you out of clay." to "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, I made you out of sweets."
Looks yummy. Thanks for sharing.

I sent this recipe to my bro & sil. It sounds like fun to make. I so wish my little nephews were closer to make this with them.
